台大國際華語研習所

  感謝校友田亮先生家屬慷慨捐贈，國際華語研習所設置田亮先生紀念獎學金，以鼓勵本所學習風氣，並獎勵本學年度(2025–2026)表現優異之學生。

申請資格：
就讀2025–2026學年班(秋、冬、春)三學期的ICLP在學生。

獎助名額：
一名。

獎助金額：
冬春兩季各發放美金二千五百元。

受獎要求：
受獎人秋季之表現通過評選獲獎後，冬季表現須再度接受審核，通過後始能於春季繼續受領獎學金；受獎人於冬春兩季期末須與捐款人面談，說明其學習進程與人生規劃。

申請資料：
以下前三項合併為一檔案，上傳至指定連結，並提供推薦人姓名。上傳連結將於11月24日公布。

1. 英文申請信。
2. 英文履歷表。
3. 英文個人專業領域研究計畫書，上限1000字。
4. 推薦人兩位：提供兩位ICLP教師姓名，由所方於申請截止日後聯絡教師。
5. 秋季成績：所方於期末逕行查詢。

 
申請時間：
11月24日起至12月5日止。

結果公告：
2026年1月12日，受獎人須於1月19日前提供匯款資訊。

Thanks to the generous donation from the family of ICLP alumnus Mr. Hoyt Langston Tillman, the International Chinese Language Program (ICLP) has established the Mr. Hoyt Langston Tillman Memorial Scholarship to encourage ICLP students in pursuing Chinese language studies and to reward students with outstanding performance in the current academic year (2025–2026).
 
Eligibility:
The applicant must be a current student enrolled or intending to enroll in all three quarters (Fall, Winter, Spring) of the 2025–2026 Academic Year Program.

Number of Recipients:
1 recipient.

Scholarship Amount:
The Scholarship amount is US$2,500 for the Winter Quarter and US$2,500 for the Spring Quarter.

Terms of Scholarship:
Students’ academic performance in the Fall Quarter will be considered in the selection process. Once the recipient is selected, the recipient’s academic performance will be reviewed again at the end of the Winter Quarter to determine whether the scholarship will continue to be awarded in the Spring Quarter. The scholarship recipient must attend a meeting with the scholarship donor at the end of the Winter Quarter and Spring Quarter, when they will be asked to provide updates on their academic progress and future plans.

Application Requirements:
Please combine the first three items below into one file, upload the file to the designated link, and provide the names of your references through the same link. The application link will be announced on November 24, 2025.

1. Letter of application, written in English.
2. English résumé or curriculum vitae.
3. Research proposal on a subject in your field of expertise, no more than 1000 words, written in English.
4. Two references:
   please provide the names of two ICLP instructors who have agreed to be your reference. ICLP will contact your instructors directly after the end of the application period.
5. Fall Quarter grades:
   ICLP will provide the reviewers with the applicants’ Fall Quarter grades submitted by their instructors.

Application Period:
From November 24 to December 5.

Result Announcement:
January 12, 2026. The recipient must provide ICLP with their bank account information by January 19.
