Practical Audio-Visual Chinese IV
Expanding on the characters and situations in Book III, this fourth book of the Practical Audio-Visual Chinese series focuses on increasing the depth and breadth of intermediate level teaching and learning. This book also gives brief introductions to Taiwan's history, geography, society and a few Chinese customs, in hopes that students will learn the differences between Chinese and non-Chinese culture. Hand-written short paragraphs are also included to help students improve reading comprehension and their ability to understand hand-written Chinese.
The book contains 14 chapters and is suited for a 12-week course. Students are expected to learn approximately 640 vocabulary words and more than 121 grammatical patterns after completing this book.
