未持有效居留证外籍人士暂缓入境,各类签证申请暂停受理 Entry to Taiwan Temporarily Barred and Visa Processing Suspended for Non-R.O.C. Nationals without ARCs

The Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) has announced a tightening of visa and entry restrictions to Taiwan.

Starting 00:00 am on May 19 (departure time at the airport of departure), all non-R.O.C./Taiwan nationals without a valid Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) will be temporarily barred from entry. This includes all travelers holding any kind of visitor visa, resident visa, and special entry permit (except those for emergency or humanitarian reasons), as well as recipients of the Huayu Enrichment Scholarship and students sponsored under any bilateral educational cooperation agreements. Visa processing is also temporarily suspended. 

For students enrolled in ICLP's 2021 Summer Program, please check you emails for more information. Students who have been accepted to the 2021 Fall Quarter and/or beyond will receive updates by email later on.
